Table/close up magic is magic performed in an intimate setting right in front of you, even sometimes happening in your own hands!  It usually involves cards, coins, mind reading etc. In more recent times people have become more aware of this form of magic as "street magic" even though it is much the same thing.  

It is ideal entertainment for adults in weddings, or any other special occasion, as an "icebreaker" and to lighten the atmosphere or get conversations going.

 The magic can be performed as a walkaround or at the tables while guests are relaxing or waiting to eat etc..
